A Pregnancy Checklist and Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide!
Now that your pregnant, you need to make a plan! You have to be ready for anything when you have kids, even a Zombie Apocalypse!
1. Find a Care Provider!
Whether you are looking for a holistic midwife or a medical obstetrician, you will need a pregnancy care provider! Call your local hospitals and talk to moms in your circle to find out more about providers in your area. It’s a good idea to interview a few doctors/midwives just to make sure they aren’t Zombies! You don’t have to pick the first one you find!
2. Come Up with a Cute Pregnancy Announcement!
Some people hire photographers, some people bake cakes. Have fun and surprise your loved ones!
3. Consider a Childbirth Education Class.
If you are a new parent, consider taking a childbirth education class. A class will help you prepare for the months to come.
4. Start Pinning!
Pinterest is an awesome tool to have in your survival belt! You can keep track of links and products you like. It’s a great way to browse for nursery decorations and new baby “must haves.”
5. Eat Right and Take care of yourself.
Research what it really means to be eating for two! And tips on staying healthy during pregnancy! Low impact exercises like swimming are great for pregnancy! Plus, Zombies can swim.
5. Hire a Doula.
A doula is a guru guide for pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and all things baby! Having a trained professional around during this transition is wonderful, and the benefits are well known.
6. Relax, You Got This.
No, really. You are an awesome parent, and you know what you need better than anyone else does.
Congratulations on your new pregnancy,
