Everyone is different. Typically most of our clients are comfortable laying on their stomachs until about 12-16 weeks of pregnancy.

We offer side-lying prenatal massage during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. We help you get comfortable with pillows and position changes.

We do not offer face-down massage during the second and third trimesters. While they manufacture products and special tables to accommodate this technique, research and evidence have found this to be an unsafe practice.

Laying on the stomach during the end of pregnancy strain the uterine ligaments. This can cause the baby to get into a position that is not optimal for labor. Additionally, it can give you more pain and strain in the abdominal area.
