We are offering in clinic, and in home treatments at this time. A mask is required while in the clinic common areas.

We ask that you cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are feeling ill or symptomatic. If you have been exposed to someone who is symptomatic, please cancel your appointment. Feel free to call us, we will not charge a later cancel fee for illness!

We are continuing to offer doula services and childbirth education. Both in person, and virtually. Some of the area hospitals are beginning to allow 2 visitors during labor!

UPDATED COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: 05/18/2020

We are offering in-home treatments, but will no longer be providing linens.

Please reschedule your appointment if you or anyone else in your house is experiencing a fever or any other type of symptoms. (Including allergies.)

COVID-19 RESPONSE

This is not something any of us planned for. This is not something any of us thought was possible.

But I sit here, writing to you from my home, as our country has pulled together to shut down and to stop the spread of illness.

Thank you for doing your part to stay home and keep everyone safe.

Massage Therapy during COVID-19

We are not offering in clinic massage therapy at this time. We will reopen our booking to you as soon as we get word from Federal, State, and Local Authority that it is safe to be in close contact with people.

Pregnancy support during COVID-19

ALL area hospitals are not allowing doulas or additional support persons at this time. We urge you to contact your birthing facilities and ask them to allow doulas.

We understand that Hospitals are doing their best to stop the spread of disease, but we also know that Doulas are essential Pregnancy Care Providers.

According to AWHONN Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses: “Doulas are not visitors and should not be blocked from caring for patients in the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum period.  Most doulas have been contracted by patients weeks to months ahead of time and have established provider relationships.  They are recognized by AWHONN and ACOG as essential personnel and part of the maternity care team,”

~AWHONN member Nancy Travis, MS, BSN, RN, BC, CPN, CBC, Florida Section Chair.

We also know that doulas help improve birth outcomes and they keep people safe during pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal recovery period.

Distance and Online Support Options

Until this crisis is over, we will be offering FREE ONLINE Childbirth Education on Monday Nights at 7pm.

Our FREE Undisturbed Birth Classes, Our Hospital Birth Preparation workshops, and our Home Birth Classes will all be available ONLINE, until further notice.

This time brings us uncertainty. We don’t know if our industry and jobs are secure. We don’t know if we will keep healthy. We don’t know what birthing and support looks like during a global pandemic.

We are here to HELP. No Matter What Comes.

We are also offering affordable private education, birth planning, and consulting services. Now you can get a FREE initial consult to find out what kind of resources you need, and to answer your questions about how we can provide support and resources to you.

We have also temporarily discounted our consulting services by 50%.

COVID-19 Staff Precautions

We ask that our clients have patience during this time. Our contracted clients will have unlimited video or phone support during their labor and birth.

Our Postnatal Doula Clients will continue to receive in person support. However, Doula who are symptomatic, or who live with people who are symptomatic will not be able to support families until 14 days after exposure or symptoms end. We are asking for patience with contract fulfillment. We will do our best to serve you or to provide an alternate who has not been exposed to illness. Understand that staff may be short at this time, and we may need to reschedule postpartum support hours for a later date. We will be available via text and phone to all of our postpartum clients during this time.

Thank you again for your continued support at this time.

Inspirational, Compassionate, IntuitiveWe as a community, as a nation, we are strong. We will pull through this. Life will probably look very different at the end of this crisis. But, Beautifully Connected is committed to continuing to evolve and offer The Best Perinatal and Family to Families in Oklahoma.

Warmly,

Brittany Chavez, Founder
